The following are two disreputable cat breeders (they sell sickly munchkins, napoleons, or sphynxes)
SAMANTHA TATE (http://www.wonderfulkittys.com/; http://www.thenapoleoncat.com/) of Masontown, Pennsylvania (aka Sam Tate):
- Her house and cattery are unsanitary, filled with urine and feces, and running amuck with cats. The fumes in her house burn the eyes and nostrils. She did not even know how many cats she had--there were so many. She doesn't allow you to take pictures in her cattery.
-Kittens are heavily infested with parasites, ringworm, upper respiratory maladies, and other illness (certified veterinary documentation is on file).
- Her contract is a sham. She claims her kittens will have a 100% clean bill of health. Once she makes the sale, however, you won't hear from her again if you try to seek restitution or make a complaint. She'll turn the tables on you.
- She partners at times with breeder Terri Harris (Munchkinlane; munchkins.com) of Crossett, Arkansas, who condones selling her own kittens through Sam's filthy cattery. Terri Harris distrust vets and will tell you not to bring your kittens for professional treatment so she won't be legally or morally liable for any vet expenses. Instead, she tenders her own medical advice to her customers--do-it-yourself treatments, many of which are dangerous. She advises fish antibiotics for feverish kittens. She advises dipping your kittens in bleach to treat ringworm. Her advice is reckless and not advised by trained medical professionals, which she is not. Terri will also correspond with you behind Samantha's back to get information about you. She then fills Sam in, but distorts the truth, turning Samantha against you.
